As part of North Gosforth Primary Care Network, we have access to a specific number of pre-bookable evening and weekend appointments.
Appointments are hosted in our network hub at Broadway Medical Centre and run until 8 pm on weekdays and from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturdays.
Our Practice team may offer you an appointment based on your specific needs.
Please note access to our network hub is by appointment only.
It is not a walk-in service, and the venue is not open for general enquires. All requests still need to be made during normal practice opening hours.

In an Emergency
You should only call 999 or visit Accident and Emergency if it is a life-threatening emergency.
If someone is having a heart attack or stroke, call 999 immediately. In these situations, every second counts. Other emergencies include loss of consciousness, acute confusion, fits that are not stopping, chest pain, breathing difficulties, severe bleeding that will not stop, severe allergic reactions or severe burns or scalds.
Out of Hours
If you need non-urgent medical help when we are closed, you should use NHS 111.
Trained staff will ask you to explain your issue and provide a course of action. They may give advice, direct you to more information, refer you to another service, or offer an out of hours appointment at a central location.
For urgent but not life-threatening situations such as suspected broken limbs, sprains, cuts, grazes, and minor burns, scalds or head injuries, you can visit an urgent treatment centre or minor injuries unit.
Staff Training & Bank Holidays
As well as public holidays, the practice will also periodically close for staff training.
These regularly scheduled training sessions enable staff to stay up to date on any new initiatives or developments, review and revise practice policies and make sure our high standard of patient care is maintained.
